Maniua
Maniua is an association dedicated to promoting the well-being of animals, humans and the environment. The interaction between these elements is key in our vision for our project on the road to recovery not only for the dogs but everyone involved in the project. Volunteering is also a key part of the project and we benefit greatly from the input of our incredible global network of volunteers.
CANINE REHABILITATION
Our project focuses primarily on the rehabilitation of animals who come from a wide variety of backgrounds and need to be socialised, trained, and shown love in order to be ready for adoption. We consider ourselves a project with a natural and balanced approach to canine education and rehabilitation. This means that we approach each dog with patience and awareness, building their confidence slowly and steadily through socialization, outdoor activities, and a calm, natural environment where they can regain their balance.
ADOPTION
The goal of our rehabilitation process is to help each animal find their balance, confidence and true essence, so that they are ready for a new home. We regularly post dogs available for adoption, so keep up to date through this website or follow us on our Instagram page @nidomaniua, where we also frequently post videos and photos of the animals.

DONATIONS
Maniua is kindly financially supported by private donations and it is these donations that allow the project to remain viable and subsequently develop and expand. If you believe in this project in the same way we do and would like to donate it will be very much so appreciated.
As an association registered in the Autonomous Registry of Associations of the Generalitat Valenciana (number CV-01-065019-V), we keep our accounts and allocate resources in a rigorous and transparent manner, ensuring that the contributions received are dedicated to the objectives and purposes of the association.
VOLUNTEERING
The work we do here at Maniua is largely made possible thanks to our incredible group of volunteers who live and work with us. In exchange for 4-5 hours of work per day, we provide food and accommodation, living in an autonomous but comfortable environment alongside 10-25 like-minded people. We prefer to receive people for a longer period, at least one month, as this way the experience is much more enriching for the animals, the people, and the project itself.

SOLIDARITY ACTION
As an association, we promote the well-being of all living beings and nature. As part of our solidarity activities, we visit and assist other projects related to the animal world and other projects related to the goals of our activity.
